Hotel la Medina

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel La Medina. It is in a good location - a few blocks back from the beach and tourist strip of Saly, in a quiet local neighbourhood. The hotel itself is very spacious, with good-sized communal areas and a sizeable swimming pool. It is also more of a local option, as opposed to the numerous international holiday resorts and hotels which make up much of Saly. Rooms are arranged around a leafy courtyard, and are beautifully decorated with lovely en-suite bathrooms. It would be nice to have a greater choice of air-conditioned rooms, but this to me was the only downside of the place. What really stood out for me was the care and attention of the staff, particularly the brothers Buba and Musa - great guys, who would do anything to serve their guests.
