Ended up staying here due to problems with previous hotel. Recommended by a taxi driver who it turns out got paid commission for us to stay here, my husband is Senegalese so we managed to argue for the commission back!
Stayed on the 5th floor. When we were shown our room a member of staff was actually having a shower in the bathroom! Good points the room is spacious and the bed was acceptable, good working air conditioning and separate lounge area with TV and fridge.
The bathroom was disgusting and you had to turn the water off centrally to stop a terribly loud noise that was made by the water system. Not sure the bathroom had been cleaned, we didn't use the towels as thankfully we had our own. Our neighbours were staff from the hotel who made a lot of noise and smoked making our room smell of cigarettes. Despite being high up the room was noisy from the street and restaurant. Wifi worked intermittently. Staff were rude throughout. Ate at the 'restaurant' once, wouldn't recommend it, also quite dirty. Location is a bit out of central Dakar.

Would not recommed, much better places to stay at similar prices.

Our international flight arrived to Dakar Airport at 00:15 and we arrived to this hotel at around 01:00am. First, the location was not as advised on the internet but few kilometers away making it quiet far from the centre of Dakar. Then we found out that they didn't have our booking. When we showed the receptionist our booking confirmation, he said that he didn't have available any triple room but that he could accommodate us in two rooms. He also immediatelly increased the price. Instead of paying XOF40,000 for 3 people for 2 nights (as it was in our booking), he asked for XOF70,000! Then suddenly he showed us a triple room which was an annex at the terrace at the top of the building after 6-7 floors of steps. Room was clean and big but very cold and again he asked for much more money. Finally, after half hour we didn't want to deal anymore with this crooked receptionist and went to another hotel that we had to pay a lot more than we originally budgeted!
