Amjad Al Deafah Hotel

5 mins drive from Al Masjid Al Haram, this hotel is on Al Taseer Road. They have regular shuttle service to Al Haram. There are many shops arounds and a departmental store just outside the hotel. Food is also good.

we stayed in this hotel in December 2017. we went for Umrah. we had a family room. this hotel has shuttle service which runs 24hrs but you won't find it only when there is Azaan and namaz time, means if you need shuttle to go to Haram then at least 10 mnts before Azaan time be outside the hotel. it takes 4 to 5 mnts in shuttle to go to Haram.

We stayed after ramadaan. Very neat hotel with small kitchenette. Do u can warm or cook your own meals. Only problem is no big freezer to store your food as we take our meals with us.
Shuttle service to the haram is good but drops you at new haram entrance so it about 700m walk to kabah area.
For elderly and small kids it difficult. 
Good wifi in rooms.
Overall a decent place with good rates.

Great hotel to stay in

Better option in economy hotels for those who prefer to stay close to Haram.
Decent en suite room size with kitchenette, although kitchenette is not equipped with any plates/cutlery but still handy for especially for those staying with kids. Small size fridge is available. Shower facility in the bathroom is very small with no screen/curtain to prevent shower water making puddles in rest of the bathroom. This is really annoying especially for those with Ehrams. Hair dryer is available. Rooms and lobbies are carpeted. 
Hotel reception could do with better customer service and overcoming English language barrier. Housekeeping is not proactive, you have to ask reception if runs out anything. 8 lifts help keeping the flow smooth. Gents barber, grocery, couple of gift shops are located inside the hotel on ground floor. Barber changes 15 SAR for hair cut. Hotel do have a restaurant on 2nd floor and a mosque (with women praying facility as well) on the first floor.
Hotel offers very good shuttle service to and from Haram all day long. Shuttle takes up to 5 mins to get to Jarwal bus station, from where it is a 15 min (mostly steep) walk to Haram extension 3. In case you miss the shuttle it'd take you 10 mins by foot to Jarwal station.
Some taxi fares from hotel. Although it depends on time of the day but generally:
- To Haram: 10 SAR
- To Masjid Ayesha: 20 SAR
- To Jabal al Nour: 20 SAR
- To Makkah Railway Station (for Harmain): 35 SAR
- To Jeddah Airport: up to 150 SAR
On 2 min walk from hotel you will find a Bangali take away food, supermarket, laundry, fast food restaurant and money exchange shop.

Average hotel to stay close to Haram

the hotel is near to Haram but lacks basic necessary services.
the staff behavior is bad and rude,if you ask them to clean your room they will shout at you.No electric kettle or complimentary water or anything else.the rooms are very small and is very difficult to survive in them.
the behavior of staff is as if you are staying for free.
stay away from this hotel.

The pick up point from Al Haram is quite far. I would not recommend this for people who are traveling with children or elderly people, in case they miss the shuttle services, they might need to walk about 15-20 minutes. There’s construction going on next to the hotel so it will be a bit noisy at night. the beds are quite small. If you take shower long, you might experience flood in the bathroom. The hotel uses mostly golf cars as a shuttle service, the drivers sometimes drop you on the hill station near Al Haram, some times down hills which needs to walk about 10 minutes up to the hill then to Al Haram, however the hotel is cheap compare to other and best one in that area with similar facilities.

Its a 4-star hotel offers an en-suite accommodation within a 15-minute walk from Masjid Al Haram

I had a reservation #1804746593 from 22nd of march to 24 of March 2018, It was free cancellation and i did cancel a week before the deadline, however the hotel charged the money as per booking I was supposed to be refunded in 15 days, however after a month I called the hotel and they said they can't refund the money!!!
So please take care from the free cancellation as some hotels like this one tend to violate it
