The hotel is actually pretty good!
Spacious rooms, good service, good location in the middle of the city near king Khaled general hospital and the main Souq.

Way better than expected

This hotel has a contract with some government institutions like universities and hospitals. When we arrived, they gave us a hard time about the contract so I had to call the CEO of the institutions I am contracted with at night. The first room we got was so nasty with the bathroom smell all over which almost made me cancel the contract I paid airline for. However, when it rained, the room got flooded so they moved to what they call a royal suit 😀. It was a bit better than the previous room but still nasty (see pictures). The owner of the hotel asked us to go back to the nastier room but I suggested that I pay the differential on my own (my stay was paid for), but he told me that I can get only more expensive room though the hotel was not even half booked. Thus, I decided to move to a decent hotel though my stay was paid for. To be fair, the Saudi receptionists were so helpful but the Egyptian owner was very rude without any care for customers.
