This is a small but comfortable "turbaza/tour base". Hexagonal gers made entirely of wood give a relaxed feel. Facilities are basic, but functional and the showers/bathroom worked well. The managers of the property are friendly and helpful. Photos accurately depict the place. A nice 5 minute walk across a long expanse of beach gets you directly to Lake Baikal, and the view of beach, lake, and mountains is wonderful. A 20-25 minute walk to food in Khuzir town, but there is a "Buuz Center" serving delicious Buryat food just 5 minutes from the Inn that was better than anything in Khuzir proper. Khuzir itself is a drab little town, so I preferred the quiet location of Barguzin Inn closer to the lake.
