We stayed two nights at the Ulan Hotel. The hotel is located in close proximity to public transport and the centre of town. Our hosts could not speak English but we got by with a smattering of French. They were very helpful in organising a transfer from the train station to the hotel at midnight. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The room was cool this Summer; there was no A/C in our room but opening the windows allowed the cool summer breeze through. We were served a very nice continental breakfast each morning in our room. It was wonderful to start a day of exploring with some ham, fried egg, cucumber and tomato topped off with tea and a small cake. I would recommend a stay here :D
