Highly recommend this establishment, chosen for it's convenient central location & courtyard position which ensured total quiet despite being only steps away from the hustle & bustle of Nevsky Prospekt, the metro, buses & countless places to eat or shop. Also the only place to stay with a choice of rooms with a balcony, all at different prices, depending on your budget. My stay of 17 nights meant I was able test out 3 options, all with lift access. A comfortable & large 2 bedroom apartment, with all mod cons, kitchen, laundry facility, etc ; an attractive roomy suite with a working fireplace to add to the ambience and at the budget end a most pleasant double bedroom, which despite no in-room kettle had the convenience of a full kitchen & sitting area close by. All of these areas were spotlessly clean, with sheets & towels renewed every 3 days and the appropriate staff always in attendance should they be needed. The reception staff also were most attentive to ones needs, fluent in English & happy to assist in any way they could. As mentioned in another review here - the heating is fierce BUT the radiators CAN be turned OFF & the windows opened ! The only complaint I can come up with is that unless you are prepared to pay over twice the price than normal for a taxi, do not use their suggested partner taxi company !
