I have been to Yuzhno-Sakhalin countless times and i will only stay in Natalya hotel because of the top class service they offer!!!very friendly receptionist who will go all out to assist your every needs.Showing you maps and directions to any place u wish to go, apply the permit to stay(required for any foreigners visiting russia,if you are stopped by authorities,you need to show them this piece of paper which shows where you are staying n your sponsors)call the taxi company for you.We cant expect the best but understand that this is Russia and the hotel provides one of the best service even by Asian standards i will rate it higher and better than some Asean hotels!!!trust me i travel alot!!Although Asian hospitality is second to none,nonetheless,the service i received from this hotel is still one of the best i have seen in my travels!!!Imagine not being able to converse in English properly but still managed to know what i want and where i want to go..Thumbs up to that!!!Bath tub and kitchennette in every room although cable tv caters mostly russian channels.For the price its worth it.
