What was good

The hotel manager spoke perfect English, overall this is great value for money and would likely stay again.

What was bad

There was nowhere in the room to put our personal belongings, there should be lockers or some sort of shelves inside. Some guests literally live and thus have that sort of entitled mentality.

Description of the hostel

Location

"Svoi" hostel is located in the center of Pyatigorsk on Krasnaya Street, 5. Within walking distance from the Flower Garden Park, bus station, railway station, Kirov Park, Broadway – Kirov Avenue, main walking street of Pyatigorsk with chestnut alley, coffee shops, restaurants and shops. There is a tram stop "Krainego street" 250 m from the hostel. From Pyatigorsk, guests can get to all the cities of the Caucasian Mineral Waters, as well as visit Mount Elbrus, Dombai resort, swim in hot thermal springs.

How to get to the hostel:
From the railway station by tram No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5. Get off at the tram stop: «Krainego Street», walk down the street 150 m, turn onto Krasnaya Street and walk another 100 m.
From the train station you can walk along Kirov Avenue. The hostel is 1.3 km away.
Guests can walk from the bus station. The distance is 400 m.
From the airport of the city of Mineralnye Vody, you can get to the hostel by train, taxi, or order a transfer. The distance from the airport to the hostel is 20 km.
The hostel charges a resort fee for each guest over the age of 18 from the second night of stay. The fee is payable separately from the cost of living directly to the hostel.
The terrace is open from 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
