53 reviewsAlthough Omsk doesn't have a lot to offer to tourists, if you find yourself in Omsk, Hotel Polet is the place to stay. We arrived early in the morning to a very friendly welcome and the good news that our room was ready early and we had been upgraded to a bigger room. The room was huge, very comfortable and homely. The owners were so friendly to us, allowing us to check out late (as we were taking an overnight train) and supplying all sorts of complimentary tea, coffee, yummy biscuits and chocolates. The free wifi was great - very fast. The hotel has a big, modern kitchen for guests to use and we took advantage of this one night, shopping at the market across the road and cooking our own dinner - it was great. All in all, a very cosy, friendly place to spend some time in Omsk.
