A friend and I stayed at this hotel for a week during our first visit to Russia. The hotel is located in walking distance of the Red Square and is very close to the Arbatskaya metro station. The room was very comfortable. The room was not particularly big, but it was large enough. The beds were very comfortable as well. The only problem I had with the bathroom was that there was a large window in it with semi-transparent curtains. There was no nearby building on the other side, but my advice would be to replace the curtains with something opaque. Staff was very nice, helpful and even spoke English. They were always there when we needed help. Special thanks to Jamila (sorry for the poor transliteration), who was especially helpful and also spoke English really well. The hotel was pretty comfortable, but the friendly staff is why I'm booking this hotel again next time I'm in Russia. Breakfast was nice, but personally I did not really ilke the coffee. Rooms were clean and the cleaning lady was also nice. Towels were replaced regularly. To sum it up: great hotel, great staff, will definitely be coming back.
