Great location, in the middle between the Kremlin, new city centre and old centre; all walking distance, and a few museums, bars and restaurants are just around the corner. The rooms are basic but very clean, modern and comfortable. And that also goes for the rest of the hostel: toilets, bathroom and a fully equiped kitchen that even has a big flatscreen tv and a sofa for chilling aswell as a play corner with toys for children. But what really stands out here is the owner, Ilya, who spends his day cleaning up after his guests and will do everything to make you feel at home. We only stayed 1 night but because my father had the flu, he allowed us to keep the room free of charge till the evening the next day when we had our train and arranged us a ride to the station for 80p or only just over €1. Oh, and, he helped us with our immigration - registration - thingy.
