It's very easy to find, having left he kremlin behind you and the lake on your left hand side, walk along until you find the Museum of the Frog Princess, and there you are. The hotel is at the back of the Frog Museum. We walked from the Train station in around 40 minutes. You're one block back from the lake here and the walk to the kremlin is 5-10 minutes. You will also find (turning right out of the hotel, two blocks along and then one / two blocks back) a great supermarket that's open until 10pm. There's no English spoken at all in this hotel, but they're friendly and will help you and write things down to explain. We had a room on the top floor at the back, one of the attic rooms. Huge, huge room, large bed, "under the eaves", so you'll want to watch your head, as we had several bumps.. two bedside tables, a small table and two chairs an a fridge in the room mean that you can eat in your room if need be (there are no cooking facilities and there wasn't a kettle). Great functional shower room, with towels provided the size of a tea towel. Our room had aircon, which was extremely efficient. Internet is good. Breakfast is provided in the restaurant across the road (from 9-11 when we were there), you'll be given a token to exchange for your breakfast. They didn't speak English at the restaurant either, but that's not a problem. The breakfast is fabulous - you'll get tea or coffee, then a bowl of Russian buckwheat porridge (really quite tasty), two blini with a kind of creamy condensed milk and then two slices of bread, with ham and cheese as well! Great breakfast - well worth it. Good location, very quiet, huge comfortable room, fabulous breakfast, tiny towels.
