J'ai tenté de faire une réservation en demandant poliment si l'hotel prenait les tickets vacances Sodexo (roumains) car ils sont sur la liste fournie pour cette occasion. Ils m'ont répondu de façon très concise qu'ils ne les prenaient pas. J'ai seulement envoyé un mail pour leur indiquer qu'ils étaient sur la liste pour leur information. Pour éviter des conflits avec d'autres voyageurs par exemple. Le manager m'a répondu de façon impolie alors que j'ai été sympa de le tenir informé :  NO, we are NOT. I’m Hotel Manager, belive, I know what I do. NO Voucher accepted.
Alors je lui ai répondu que c'était seulement pour qu'il le sache et qu'il avait été impoli. 
il m'a alors répondu " GREAT ! – BLACK LIST".
Donc non je n'irai jamais dans un établissement tenu par des gens aussi désagréables !

I wanted to book with sodexo turist ticket because this etablshment is on this list of sodexo, but probably a mistake of sodexo... But i send a mail to confirm before and i receive a very short answer to say me it's not ccepted. I answered very nicely to inform them there is a list with the name of this hostel. And the manager was rude, probably upset but i don't know why :  "NO, we are NOT. I’m Hotel Manager, belive, I know what I do. NO Voucher accepted." and also he asks me if i come or no. So i answered a last mail to say it's rude and i just wanted to inform them. And no booking finally for me. (yes i want to use my ticket, of course...). and he send me this last mail : " GREAT ! – BLACK LIST".
So unpleasant person !

very rude manager

We had a clean room, but was not cleaned again by anyone the whole time we stood there. The room had no view and no insect screen which we missed since it rained and there were mosquitos. 
The breakfast was ok but not refilled on time and some products you could see were not fresh. 
Overall it was an average experience, but for the money we paid i would have expected some more quality.

Stayed here on a week-end for my 10 years from graduation reunion and I must say I am very happy with my choice.
It's an excellent 3 stars hotel and I loved the fact that everything in it was clean, worked very well and was comfortable: air conditioning, shower head, shower drain, curtains on the window, mattress on the bed, mini fridge, etc.
I have to add that the design of the room made things quite functional - there are sockets next to the bed, the air conditioning is in the hall so as not to bother you if you are lying in bed, there is a large mirror and a shelf to put your stuff next to it, etc.
Breakfast was ok. Decent variety and quality, not the best of the hotel's features, but by no means something to complain about.
Will very strongly consider staying here again the next time I'm in town.

Very happy with my stay

I stayed in a junior suite. The room was spacious and clean. There's free wifi. Great selection of tv channels (not dubbed, luckily). Breakfast was okay, you get the basics - eggs, some ham and cheese, jams, buns, coffee etc. They serve it until 10.30. The staff were really nice and polite. It was affordable and close to the city center. It is easy to walk there. There's also a good grocery store just across the street, Profi, they have great prices. Things that could be improved - the door of the room is locked with key, there's no card. Not sure how the AC is turned on as there was no remote controller. The curtains can't be fully drawn so the light in the morning was too much. Also - there's no elevator, so be careful if you can't climb the stairs. But all in all - I'm satisfied with my stay here.

A nice affordable stay

Upsides:
* Good bed
* Decently large room
* Good shower pressure
* Decent breakfast, nothing special though
* Helpful staff
* 5 minutes to city center by car, 20 by foot

Downside:
* Small TV (this didn't impact my rating since I don't care about the TV really)

Very good accommodation

What a great find! This was a short city break and this hotel did the trick. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from centre and worth the savings. The standard appeared to be quite consistent across the city with most places seeming rather dated. We knew this before arriving and therefore met our expectations. The junior suite was huge and the breakfast buffet was ample. The only downside (which wasn't the hotel's fault) is a dog in a nearby home barking through the night. Would recommend this hotel and indeed Timisoara for a short city break.
