I want to point out an exceptional employee who is, in my view, one of the best waiters in the comfortable City Hotel Lounge.  Mr. Nicolae Florin has made our dining experience feel as if we were being treated as royalty.  He’s anticipates our favorite beverages and brings them before we even place our order.  His knowledge and enthusiasm makes him the “go-to” person with our appetizers up to our main course.  Service is prompt and dining area sparkling clean.  Delicious food!!”  He has a friendly personality and genuine demeanor.  We seek him out every time we visit. 

We will certainly tell our friends about you, and look forward to returning soon.

I found the room clean and pleasant with air !conditioning. Some staff were really friendly and tried to help. Others seems totally disinterested. Good breakfast and drinks and meals were fine. 
Don’t take too much bags with you ask there is no lift
If the staff would be more consistent it would be perfect. The city itself is worth strolling through and Rumanians are hospitable and friendly. In summary would not mind going back, let’s just hope all the staff becomes more customer focused

Nice hotel but some staff should not work in the hospitality industry

Not my first time in this hotel, and every time the same old story: the hotel is well located and the rooms are clean and well maintained, but the staff is incredibly and unnecessarily rude. Being “guest oriented” is light-years away from their behavior, never a smile, never a welcoming word. Cristina, from the reception is not only incredibly rude, but also incompetent. It tooks 20 minutes to get an invoice printed from her. She also speaks only a very basic English, but argues with guests that their English is poor. This is at least grotesque. Her place is definitely not behind a reception desk. 
Entering the breakfast room you could be lucky meeting a brunette that doesn’t know the words “good morning”, what a pity, but on the other hand she’s a specialist in pronouncing the words “room number?”....
Don’t expect more words or a smile from her. The coffee or beverage you ask will not be served on your table, but left on the desk once prepared. No words of advice anyway. So gross....
Perfect example of a nice hotel ruined by an awful staff. 
Advice to the owner: why don’t you wake up and read these reviews? It seems your staff is ruining your business....


Hotel bun, echipa grosolană

The hotel has a breezy feel, unlike many (Eastern) European inner city hotels. Nice large, clean, rooms, lovely large, covered terrace outside, and excellent service in the restaurant and reception. I understand other rooms are smaller, we must have had a big one.

Very good hotel!!

Rooms are smal, but ok. Breakfast minimal, the guy who serve coffee totally uninterested,  playing mobile phone all the time. 
Service in the restaurant the same. Totally not polite,  food normal. Steak welwel done, sweaty fries.
Next time, I go to the better one.

Most unfriendly service ever

I was only in this hotel in Slatina , I have seen worst place and this hotel can be for sure recommended by me. Sleep well ! Hotel has good drink bar , beer Ursus  is very  good compare  to top European brand. Can't give feedback about food in restaurant but breakfast is ok !

I liked it all , but there are no elevators . At some rooms the bathroom has glasses , so people can see trough it and it is kinda nasty . But it's ok . I liked it . And also , I love the landscapes...
