The best resort I have ever stayed in Transylvania.  It was absolutely perfect in all aspects. Very good for families, the kids and adults will enjoy the sport facilities as well. The panorama is marvellous, the sunrise and sunset above of the hills can be see from the terrace. We will return if possible,

Miracle in Transilvania

One of the most beautiful guesthouses where I have stayed.
Located on a hill, on the outskirts of the city (the city is quite small, so the distance, by car to the center is 10 minutes, and on foot 15 minutes), it is in the middle of nature, very quiet, surrounded by the sung by the birds and the quiet atmosphere, typical Transylvanian.
The architecture is very modern, airy, bright, warm colors.
The room is large, has plenty of natural light, comfortable bed and has a great, large, terrace, which offers a lot of privacy.
A plus was the multitude of informative materials about the city and its surroundings, brochures, magazines, and guides I found on the generous table in the room - a great help for the traveler who doesn't know much about the area.
The food offered for breakfast is cooked by the family that holds the pension, is fresh, local, tasty and has a soul.
The pension also offers a playground for the little ones, well arranged and safe and a unique advantage: the guests of the pension are offered bicycles (good quality ones), free of charge, to fully enjoy, in an eco way, the city, and its surroundings.
A big plus of the pension is the young lady who owns the pension, smart, beautiful, warm and who knows how to make you feel very good, through conversation, smile, and attitude!
I'm glad I discovered this place, full of warmth!

Excellent!

Well equipped place with free WIFI, parking area even with ramps for disabled guests. Large playground for small kids. Delicious breakfast from local foods. The guesthouse is located at suburban hilltop area of Odorhei with nice wiev to mountains

Horizont guesthouse - ideal place for families with kids

We spent only 1 night in one of the bungalows, but its lovely. Room was quite well equipped, but kitchen is not for making a dinner! 
Sleeping quality is good, breakfast was pretty good, staff is lovely and nice!
Only one thing: the steps up to beds are more like a ladder, and are made from slippery wood, so it defenately needs some wrap on it, because its dangerous for kids (and for older ppl).

Not central, but a very good choice for families

I am a recurrent visitor of the Horizont Panzio, and it's always a pleasure to come back for multiple reasons:
- Location: On a hill overlooking the whole city as well as the surroundings areas
- Excellent service (during my last stay end of February, I even had the surprise to see that the staff had clean off my car (and the cars of other customers on the parking lot) from the recently fallen snow. This never happened at any of the hotels or guesthouses I have visited in the last 20 years throughout Europe
- Besides accommodation, friendly staff is able to provide useful suggestions for outdoor activities or things to see in the surrounding area
- Children outdoor games, bikes available
- One can also rent small houses for longer period (equipped with small kitchen)

Nice place to stay if you visit Odorheiu Secuiesc

This place is very nice. I can just recmoand it. We had one of the small family bungalows only for us. Clean and specious. Breakfast was also good. The location is out of the city so in case you want to go for a drink, dinner etc, you need a car or take a taxi.

Very nice, bit out of the city

The hotel / guesthouses is located in one of the hills surrounding the city, close to the city center, at the end of a cul-de sac. They offer accommodation both in rooms or in one of the four bungalows. Personally I prefer the latter, the price is lower than a double room in a hotel, but provides a full apartment with appliances and breakfast, with quite enough space for up to four people.
The staff is nice, service minded and they are open to help with miscellaneous problems, if any pops up. The breakfast is a selection of cold cuts, nothing out of the ordinary, but is enough to cover the start of the day. 
The garden is well maintained with a small playground for the children and possibilities of grill / barbecue. Unless you really really need to stay in the city center, I would recommend to choose them for your stay, if will feel like home.
