Casa Moteasca

Nice location and accommodations. Has a huge yard, pool and a restaurant were you can taste local cuisine and home made plum brandy at average prices. We went in December and even was -15 C the room was heated well. Close to Turzii Gorge, Turda Salt Mine, Ciucas Falls, Mihai Vodă Monastery and tomb just to mention few attractions in the area.

Quiet place

We have visited the resort for a weekend with more work colleagues and their families. despite the very nice location and well designed places. the management and the interaction with them is terrible and so is the food (frozen things mostly and no real chance of mixing side dishes with main course). on top of all, you need to pay to access the pool, despite huge price of accomodation and we could not find any wifi hot spot...
definitely a no go in the future.

Nice place with poor management

This place carries an outrageous discrepancy between the outdoor and indoor area. The outdoor area - pool, garden - are very beautiful and well preserved. The indoors - rooms, teraces - are awful. Dirty, noisy and smelly. 
In the room there was a disturbing stong mix of scents: floor detergent/ perfume and the smell coming from the kitchen. The room had a cold design and was equiped with basic, low quality furniture. The bed sheets were old and had some holes in them. 
The shower seemed to be colapsing, but we ended up fine. The cleaness was really poor, and the room terace terrible dirty.
Despite the nice area, green and accesible, it is a bit noisy location due to the proximity to the road passing just in front of Casa Moteasca.
There is planty of space for children and facilities as well (a small pool and play yard). 
The food was not so good and we had to wait a lot for some simple plates.
We were really disapointed by the fact that, despite being accomodated at Casa Moteasca we had to pay the entrance fee for the pool just like any other visitor. Very rarely I have seen this before, I think it is a basic to have free acces to the pool if you are a hotel guest.
The personnel was nice and friendly, I was surprised though that some of them were actually smoking in one of the dedicated rooms and you could feel the smoke in the eating area. 



Such a pitty

She kept bringing things we didn't ask for at the table than she tried to trick us with the bill (the numbers didn't add ) when we said we will not pay for what  we didn't ordered she said "its to late because she already printed the bill " and gave us a chart completed with a pen ..i didn't wanted to continue the scene but that chart had no fiscal value so way to ruin your business giving jobs to all kind of amateurs 

Worst waitress ever !!!

This is really not the place to go whether you are looking for accommodation or to eat something. The food is overpriced and not that good. For instance, I payed 7 times the normal price for a basic  ice-cream. When it comes to the rooms, they are not in an impeccable condition. 
I would not recommend this place to anybody.
