Rooms are ok, you have what you need. New furniture, clean, not quite big. Out of all the restaurants we visited in mamaia and constanta here was the best service and best cocktails. Nice view by the lakeside to sit in the morning and evening. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice lakeside view with good cocktails

It was the 3rd time we stayed in Piccadilly. We enjoy so much the location with access to a quiet private green area on the lake side, private access to the lake, quick access to the beach. Quiet and beautiful! If you have a room on the lake side, the sunset view is break taking. You can feel the presence and constant attention of the owners, Andrei and Gabriela. Discreet and always there for you.

A place to Be

Nice, spacious, clean rooms, good location, nice people, tasty food, in one word - excellent. Thank you Andre and Gabriella for a wonderful visit to Piccadilly Hotel. Your hospitality is appreciated. The hotel has a brilliant location in Mamaia, offering a calm and peaceful sanctuary to us all.

I really enjoyed to be there

I enjoyed the stay here, the hotel is nice, well located, in the centre of Mamaia. The beach is relatively close, at 5-7 minutes distance. The backyard is really nice, with a beautiful view to the lake. I recommend this hotel, being a good option balanced between quality and price!

Nice hotel, well located

A hotel that has what it takes to spend a nice, relaxing holiday, but it blow it up. The hotel in refurnished, clean, has a good location, a nice lawn near the lake, even a nice terrace. Breakfast is basic and without variations, no expectations about that. The problems are the weird taste of some food served a-la-carte for dinner (happened 2 out of 3 times when we ate there, once we refused to eat and returned it ) and the total disrespect showed to clients when they accepted that a group of 25-30 people, who organized there some anniversary, put the music loud on the terrace till 00.30-01.00 am and then, continued laughing and speaking loud till 04.00 am. We were forced to sleep windows/doors closed, on A/C instead on open windows and fresh air. Not to mention that even so, the noise was disturbing. Happened 2 nights in a row, relax ruined.

Will not come back!

The breakfast was ok, but the room was terrible. Decent clean sheets and towels, but dirty curtains, very poorly maintained bathroom and old furniture in the room. The room had air conditioning witch was very useful. The hotel has no elevator. All in all, for a 2 star hotel, I had better expectations.

Recommended for a tight budget and few expectations

I stayed at this hotel 3 times, because I liked it very much .. it is a very quiet hotel, very clean, with friendly and attentive staff to the needs of the clients.

Very reasonable price, and quality well over 2 stars.
The reception is very large and welcoming, with huge sofas, tables, a very good leisure time.

I recommend you with confidence.

A good 2 star hotel

Ok, it was not our (wedding), we were invited to the wedding of friends and most of all we liked the atmosphere, music, and dessert. The dance was super!

We have made a gift of cooking accessories, books with guidance in this direction and I suggested we meet healthy golden wedding (wow ... 50 years of happiness)

Silver Wedding at Piccadilly

First of all, they have no lift. If you ever have a heavy bag, or you are not so young, or have problems with legs at all, don't even consider this hotel.
The room was small and not clean: when we arrived we found all sorts of hairs on the floor, there was sand on the couch... Disgusting. We spoke about that to the cleaning ladies, who said that the hairs "fell from the upper floor". We probably looked very stupid to deserve such an answer.
Apart from being dirty, our room was ugly. We did have a small balcony though, which is a plus.
Positioning of the hotel is good, but the price (the same for a 3 stars in Rome) is absolutely unacceptable.

2 stars? How much did they pay for those?

For an Indian to say I got a fantastic tan in Europe will sound funny. This exactly is the fact and the experience of lazing out in the sun on the beach and the sand under your feet, with beautiful people is a fantastic feeling.

Add to this a superb hotel to stay in within a limited budget, with all clean amenities and great food and service - then you have the perfect ingredients for a perfect holiday.

Hotel Piccaddilly in Mammaia, Constanta, Romania is a beautiful Hotel to stay, and soak in the sun within a walking distance to the sea. If you are bored to walk, then sail board on the huge and pristine backwaters in the hotel itself. Hotel Piccadilly a beautiful experience, great food and amazing service! Way to see Romania :)
