Hotel Golden Rose

An excellent traffic hotel.  Very quiet, helpful staff and clean and well equipped rooms.  The furniture is impeccable and the bathroom is complete and functional.

I only spent one night here, but for a seaside hotel, it was very well prepared even in February.

The owners are great,involved in everything(cleaning,serving customers with fresh coffee..etc)
We went for the triple room,wich was great,clean,big enought...
Breakfast was ok,if you don t eat meat for example (in my case),they can easily make an omlette with vegetables.

An excellent traffic hotel

All good!

We stayed at Golden Rose Hotel for 2 nights during  June, 18-20th 2016. We chose this hotel for its location very close to the Delphinium.
I liked:
- large room, furnished in good taste
- clean
- the shower cabin equipped with radio
- amiable personnel
- Wi-Fi is ok
- very close to the Delphinium (3 minutes’ walk) and beach (10 minutes’ walk)
- easy public transport with to the center (Casino cliff) and railway (around 30 minutes)

I didn’t like:
- very hard mattress and pillows
- the ventilation in the bathroom didn’t cope with the humidity
- the shower hove must be replaced
- limited options breakfast
- small TV.
 
I would consider this hotel for next visits to Constanta if they change the mattress and pillows.

Good but need improvement

On the plus side: The hotel is clean and it offers good facilities. The staff is quite friendly as well. Free parking is a plus as well, along with the good location. The breakfast was quite good, with good variety and good quality products. Minibar inside the room.

Still, there are some negatives: The room is not soundproofed at all: Noise during the night (and day) cannot be avoided and can get a bit too much - to be more specific, noise coming from the nearby rooms and from outside. I believe it was a bit cold in the room (nothing major though) and the AC on the "Heat" setting didn't help at all. The bed was not that comfortable (the mattress was quite hard to be really honest).

Quite decent but there are areas of improvement

The staff was great, breakfast was good, but the quality of the rooms was very poor. The bed was very hard and not comfortable at all, same for the pillows, on the floor there was just an old carpet that can cause to some people allergies, the air conditioner was old and was making cracking noises the whole night. The shower cabin was also old and wasn't working properly. I spent 1 week there and I couldn't wait to get back home to get some sleep.

the price I was communicated when I made the reservation was different from the price i was asked when I got to the location; I made a reservation for three nights and the price that I was communicated on the phone was for one night.

Constanta is not a very clean nor safe town during the off-season.

눇The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious. The area of town was somewhat a concert particularly during the off-season that we were there at. Internet service was moderate; parking was also moderate.
