The rooms are beautifu,the beds are very comfortable,the view is great and you have a lot of food to choose from that is so good you will want to come back here as soon as you can.(real facts)(best guesthouse you can ever find)(if you don't like the food I don't understand you,the food is amazing)

Good food, amazing view, good place to sleep, very nice people! I stayed there onennight, ate dinner and breakfast, also ordered desert. The food was tasty and delicious, rapidly served. We were accompanied by cats which for me as a vet was a blessing. I totally recommend

We went here twice during our stay in Cheia. The restaurant was recommended to us by a local. We had lunch the first time and the second time we went just for drinks and dessert. Delicious chocolate cake! Also, very good traditional food. Would return to eat here.

Arrived at the place for lunch after a few hours on the road. 
The place has a nice traditional menu with large portions and a pretty good price. 
We enjoyed the place as it was quiet, the meal was good and we had a good experience overall. 

I've been here with my family. The restaurant was almost full (only one free table). After 1 hour we received "ciorba". Ciorba de burta was very good (one of the best we eat). Ciorba de vacuta was average. DO NOT EAT PASTA!!! Has no taste! Gulas is not that good (below average). Pastrama de oaie is good, but it's not a big portion. Papanasii have only one donut and are not that good. Staff are nice and helpful. I would say it's a 4 in Cheia, but would be a 2,5-3 in Bucharest.

Best place to eat in Cheia

The area is beautiful, but the food is not very ok. The meatball soup is very salty, and the belly soup has no taste. The 2-person Cheia platter is ... really bad (the meat on the garnish is very dry and unsalted, the stuffed mushrooms are a bit burnt, the baked potatoes are actually cooked and just put a little in the oven at high temperature to catch color, the sausages are ok), and the trout has no taste and looks old. How to go wrong with trout ?! The sarmales were good and the chocolate cake was very good. The coffee is very good. In total ... Nop!

Stopped by for lunch, after reading an online review of this place that was rather admiring. Should've double-checked.

Went in, said hello, asked for a table. Was directed to the terrace where we proceeded to wait.

The 4 waitresses kept moving around, servicing other guests, cleaning empty tables - and ignoring us. 

Lit a cigarette, and shortly after saw a waitress bringing an ashtray - to the empty table next to ours.

Decided to give up when some newcomers sat down at another table and were instantly greeted and provided with menus. That was at about the 15 min. mark.

Went instead to La Rosa where we got proper, prompt and polite service. And indirect confirmation that, while not the most handsome guy ever, there wasn't actually anything wrong with my face.
