The restaurant is good looking, very nice architecture in the mountain landscape, flowers, they have nice personnel but the food taste is not satisfactorily and the prices are high for what they offer.


This is one of the most awesome places I have ever been to, and we're planning to revisit this hotel/restaurant this year 2023, also in October-November. 
The staff is awesome, very welcoming, inviting, they even shared awesome stories about the local culture. 
The rooms are worm, shower is nice, clean, we had a balcony with an awesome view. Because it it a wooden cabin it is a bit noisy and you can hear a lot of noise coming from the neighbors, but who cares, the rest is awesome. 
The restaurant? If I would get a superpower I would move this restaurant in my home town and eat there every day. 
The breakfast is awesome, a lot of it to go around, I attached photos. The fish, the polenta, the papanasi, I can only say oh my god, can't wait to visit it again this year. 

Best restaurant I visited

A very beautiful and traditional restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food. The dishes were delicious and they offer a good variety of traditional food. The food arrived quickly even though it was a busy hour and the portions are super generous too. Definetly recommend stopping by.

Lovely. A must visit

The price in the menu is for 100 gr. I paid 150 lei / 30 euros for the fish. the service is not the best, I ordered water but it was not brought and at the end I paid for it. The staff didn't smile at all.
 Not going back.

The restaurant

Excellent services, fine room. The food is very fresh and tasty. The personnel is very kind. A bonus are the swimming pools just across the street. Even they're charged separately, totally worth it. Everything is clean and near the nature.

Good location, excellent services

We visited this place in the past, but we only had lunch here. This year we decided to stay for a few days, because we liked the place very much. The hosts exceeded our expectations. Everything was more than perfect. The room was amazing-good mattress, good pillows, nice smart tv. Bathroom modern and clean. But the best part? THE FOOD❤️! They only have local ingredients. Bread made at their place, sausages the same, good mulled wine, jam, best meat I ate in a while. And the fish-just amazing with their polenta. If you want to book this place, don’t think twice, just do it! They have pools in the summer, some cute animals and they are also pet-friendly. I can’t reccomend this place enough. Can’t wait to be back.

You don’t want to miss this one!

We went there with high hopes, checking the comments made by other clients. However there were good and bad feelings at our table. I expected more having in mind the high rates and plenty of consumers found  at a rather unusual time (between lunch and dinner). Goulash great, trout good, papanasi good, vegetables and sides too bad. The fresh lemon juice made from chemicals for sure.

Overrated!

We had 2 wonderful days here. The location is very nice, perfect for relaxation. The rooms were big, comfortable, clean, with everything you need. The food was amazing, big portions, everything good. You can explore the surroundings or relax around the resort. And please eat a trout here.

Very nice location.

I visited a lot of places, I dine in many restaurants but the experience I had in my most recent trip was absolutely amazing! With a group of friends we spent 3 days in this great place. I can write a lot about the good food (tasty, plenty and at good value), the cozy rooms, the wonderful area in which is located the venue but over all I cannot say enough about the staff! Everything, from the first contact til the last "good bye" makes us feel like home, awaiting to hear one more joke, one more recommendation or one more fragment of traditional music.
Congratulations to Alex, the owner! We'll certainly come back at least two times this year! One final secret: from June a new building will be available (18 more rooms) with pool and some tubs.
Keep on the good job you are doing! Congratulations!

My number one option for nothern Transylvania!

Haven't stayed overnight but only heard nice things about it. We visited the trout lake which is set up with taste and we also had dinner at the restaurant. The fish soup and grilled trout were pretty good, nice round and thick chips and lovely Romanian cognac available.
