We ate at the restaurant and it was horror!  We tried the pork ribs with potatoes chips and beef tenderloin with mushrooms and vegetables. 
The potatoes were cold and the beef was well cooked😔
I undersand that it was 1st of January and the restaurant was full, but …
The only good part was the lemonade with mint and ginger!

An unpleasant experience

We stayed here for one night. The view from our balcony of Bran castle was amazing. I’ve since read reviews that the view is better from the 2nd floor, however we were on the first floor and could not complain. We had a massive balcony and spent most of the evening sitting there just taking in the view. 
We visited the restaurant for drinks during the day and staff were friendly and attentive. We also went in there in the evening for some dessert, again great service from staff. 
Breakfast was included in the price and had a good selection of food.

We didn’t stay in the hotel but we ate at the restaurant mistakes were made on taking the order and bringing the order , my steak was not as I ordered, instead of fries I got brown potatoes, I ordered desert everyone at the table got it except me. My husband ordered non alcoholic beer he was given a beer with alcohol. Training your staff is important especially on that touristic area.

Bran visit

Perfect walking distance to the castle. Got in late without a reservation and the front desk was so kind in showing us what was available. Included a great breakfast! I’m need of an update (no a/c) but clean! Our has a mini fridge and if you’re lucky to get a room in a back a creak runs through letting you sleep to calm sounds!

We stayed one night here. It was a teribile experience. I read some poor reviews on google, but I tought it may be a mistake or some difficult tourists. When we arrived, the entrance delighed our retina. Nice loby, many flowers. But when we entered the room I was shocked. Old furniture( this wouldn't be a big problem), dirty walls, the mattress was old and dirty. After I took a shower, the whole bathroom was filled in water because it's a problem with the cabin isolation. Ors friends had the same problem. Dirty room, old mattress. Very dissapointing...

It's this the same hotel we are talking about?

We stayed in Hanul Bran for a weekend (2 nights) during July 2020 (myself, my husband and two kids). We enjoyed the large rooms (we had a two bedroom apartment) with view towards Bran Castle. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We were also very happy with the fact that we had two bathrooms. 
The restaurant is outside and respects the Covid-19 regulations, we had breakfast and lunch there. The food was good and service fast.
Hanul Bran is in the centre of Bran, within walking distance from the Castle, and close to many nature trails.
The personnel is well trained and everyone respects the coronavirus measures, which is a great plus.

Good location, clean rooms and professional staff

This motel looks nice by outside, being recently renovated, probably. Inside it is not something wow, the bed was terrible, a very old TV and nothing in the noisy fridge. The employees were nice and friendly. The restaurant serves only breakfast and barbecue, so it could not be a good choice if you want to eat something different.

Fast serving and good food. The prices are good for the area and the coffee delicious. Tried tripe sour soup and chocolate pancakes and i recommend visiting. Clean place and nice staff. Parking is available for free

20 min at the table and no one came to bring us a menu...don't go if you want to eat in the same day...
All this in a time of day when less then half of the tables were empty!!!

I stayed 2 nights. If you just need a place to sleep it is okay. Rooms are old and look used. Bathroom had sometimes a strange smell. Breakfast is okay, the restaurant also. Over-all a medium range of quality and value.
