The location is good, near the main road, but in the same time very quiet. It has a large garden, where the kids can play safely. 

However, although I had booked 4-5 days, I did not want to stay over night; I was a little afraid because we were the only family in the main building of the hotel and there was  no employee working there over night/reception open during night.

Secondly, I was surprised to find out that the restaurant was not open, because we had not informed the hotel in advance that we are going to eat there; such argument seemed very strange, at least to me. Not to say that (a) I was informed about this in the evening, when the kids started to be angry, and that (b) the website of the hotel presents a lot of photos of the restaurant.

It is true that the hotel has a large kitchen where the tourists can cook, but I did not know/suppose that we are actually obliged to cook during holidays :). Maybe there are tourists willing to do this, but I think they should be informed in advance.

Unusual

If you want to escape the polluted atmosphere of your city and go outdoors, this is the place for you. It's quiet, quite remote and you have a lot of places to visit, including Dracula's castle. If you go there for Christmas,as I did, you won't be disappointed. You'll be pleasantly surprised by traditional food and music, amazing hosts and lots of other surprises. It's money well spent!

Surprisingly amazing

A great find on our first Romanian road trip. Gorgeous, rustic accommodation, comfortable and warm with small balconies with views of the hills and snow capped mountains in the distance. Wonderful hospitality and a great breakfast. No food during the week at the moment (October) but there is a kitchen that guests can use and a short drive to restaurants in Bran. It is a bit tricky to find but because it's in a village off the main road, but this means that it's quiet and peaceful save for the cows, sheep and dogs!

A hidden gem

Nice and quite place, just off the main road. Comfortably close to Bran, Rasnov and Brasov. A very hospitable family inn, run by a family that knows hospitability. Clean rooms, most with balconny. Breakfast is unbelievable. Wide variaty of local products. Excellent command of English, well informed on local atttractions and eager to share this.

Paradise

This was absolutely one of the most beautiful locations in all of Bran. I stayed here for a weekend and the view of the mountains are truly breathtaking! Not only is the view worth the stay, the friendliness of the staff is incredible! We were welcomed right away by Camelia who also helped us with directions to the inn, she was truly a pleasure to be around and gives you a warm smile. Her kindness towards others is truly appreciating. There is no question that if I return to Bran i will be staying here again! Thank you for all the wonderful hospitality! Will see you again someday!
