The hotel is run by a family and is in a remote and quiet location, near a forest. The staff is very friendly and REALLY care about the guests. They brought us extra blankets (just in case), provided us games and we even tasted a delicious home-made egg-plant salad that the lady of the house cooked for her own family. The whole family is hard-working: they are building a swimming pool and a football/tennis ground in order to please more their guests. We were there several times and will come back again. The price is very good, the rooms are very nicely decorated and clean.

We went to this pension as a group of families with children, so we took over the whole pension. 
We had a nice week-end and we used all their facilities: indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and tennis table. There is also an sport field and a BBQ. 
The pension is located two km outside Baile Felix, near a forest, but it's easy to find and there are plenty parking spaces. The rooms are spacious and newly furbished and there is a restaurant downstairs. Breakfast was nice, but there was not too much choice for dinner.  The pension is family owned.
The indoor swimming pool is quite big and the water was warm, but not too warm for swimming. The only thing which I missed was lounge. You could either sit at the restaurant, on the chair, or in you room, on the bed. For a place with such a nice spa, it really lacks a comfy chair.

We stayed one night, but did not have hot water in the shower either in the night, or in the morning (next day). We were told it is NORMAL for this to happen since they are not connected to the city water supply. I had to pack everything and then go to the swimming pool showers where there was hot water (but only in the morning).
At least they should have informed us!
Pity! Since everything else was OK.

No HOT water

The pension is nice, very clean room, very large room with a little balcony. We spent a weekend there, the weather was cold and wet, so the blancket with the duck feathers was splendid! The family who run the pension is very friendly, they want to offer you all they have.
Negative points: indoor swimming pool - water temperature is too low for the winter days, maybe in summer is ok; the restaurant offers you just pork steak and chips, very good taste, but you have no other choice. There are no others restaurants close to this pension, so if you want something else, you have to go by car 2-3 km.
If it is winter and you want some thermal waters or spa, you  have to go to some other pool in Baile Felix, about 2-3 km by car.
The price is ok for the room and also for the breakfast.

Nice Pension

As part of a tango event, we stayed at this place. The organizer knew of my eating choice (vegan). Somehow, the pension understood "vegetarian". So, plenty of cheese for vegetarians, only some veggies paste for me. yay
Dinner was a tiny bit better (white rice with mushrooms, and potatoes with mushrooms and pickles). When i asked to pay for lunch they had NO vegan option. (breakfast and dinner was included).

The room was big, though, and it was very warm inside. However, you could hear when the person in the other room sneezed. Or went to the toilet.

There's a pool (didn't go)  and places where you can play table tennis or tennis. 

Not recommended whether you are a couple or have any food restrictions.
