A place with history. 
The host is very friendly and kind and the rooms are clean and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty. 
The motel is close to the main atractions of the city and to the best restaurants.

Probably one of the best locations to stay in Baia Mare. Pretty close to the city centre and also to the park. I stayed for a week together with my girlfriend. Most probably I'll come back, since the location itself it's really clean and the staff is super kind. The only thing that is a little disturbing is the noise coming from the street, but that's understandable, since our room was on the street level and a few meters away from the main road.

Our stay at Pensiunea Pictorilor was a pleasant one. I was impressed by their staff and their care for us. They made sure all our requests were taken care of. We also slept like a baby on the king size bed. The mattress was much better than I had in other hotels. I recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Baia Mare!

I spent a couple of days in Baia Mare and what I can say is that I love this guesthouse! The host is very friendly and kind, the rooms are clean, cozy and welcoming. Everything is well organized and the breakfast is very tasty(eggs, ham, vegetables, orange juice, awesome coffee, milk&cereals). The price was very good as well.
I will definetely return!

Great place to stay. Quiet room in a safe environment. 
The bed was very comfortable, and the personnel was kind. 

Nothing to complain about this price, the room we stayed in was squicky clean. 
The breakfast surprised us as we didn't expect to have breakfast included for this money. 

The position was great, within walking distance of the historic city centre.

The location is really near the historical centre of the city. We were welcomed by the facility master and guided us where to park the car. The room was a big one, really clean overall and with a fresh smell, the bad had a super comfortable mattress, the room had a kettle, tea, cups and glasses, still water. We also had breakfast, super good with everything you should want, even coffee, tea, water, juice beside the food. The personal was incredibly kind! The price - quality is more then we expected , we can’t wait to have the occasion to come back again !

We chose this accommodation because the booking we had at another hotel was cancelled. We weren’t very excited after seeing the reviews, but that changed once we’ve arrived. The staff was very kind, the rooms very clean and everything smelled just like new. It would be amazing if the parking and the rooms were a bit bigger. But for 25 euro I’d say it’s a great deal.

If you look for low cost and cozy accommodation in Baia Mare, Pensiunea Pictorilor is the right place. The rooms are clean, chic and fresh refurbished. Guest house staff was very kind and helped us to find a good restaurant near center.

The room is at the ground floor. Spacious and clean with a big bed. The smell was nice in the room and the accommodation was great. They were friendly and helpful.
The room was recently renovated an it looked great.

I took a room at the first floor, a room dedicated to a Hungarian painter (the one with blue walls). I took the superior room because the receptionist told me it was renovated this summer. As she said it was pretty amazing for the 120 ron paid. It is near the Old Town. Unfortunately, the parking, which has only 7 spot, was full, but I found a parking spot in front of the pension on Victoriei street.

Super nice pension for good price

Everything went well and the experience exceeded our expectations.

Budget location

I took a renovated room at second floor. We had a big TV, the furniture was new as the other amentiea. The wifi signal was good. I liked a lot the walk in type of shower. The pension is more a family business, but I liked a lot. I paid 100 RON per night for room number 9. I will come back again for sure!
