Loved it. Our third year straight coming here, never been disappointed.

The choice menu for breakfast is back. The poached eggs were just as good as I remembered them. 

As always, very nice and attending staff, they are one of the reasons this place has so much appeal for us. The Rhein champagne and alcohol outlet also play an important role. 

The rooms are decorated tastefully and very warm. 

Can't wait to visit again next year. :-D 

Great last experience before confinement

I just came back from a 5 days stay - I had 2 rooms, one standard twin - I DON'T advise as it had no fridge and only a small monitor 21" as TV; however, the second one, junior suite, was almost 4 stars with large TV, fridge, extra pillows, even bathrobes. I will not insist upon the view, the surrounding area as it was already done by others. To mention - i had 2 days of winter storm and they cleaned all the yard efficiently, very warm in the rooms. Also interesting for those who appreciate a good wine, they have a wine outlet with good prices, not only their wine but many other options. A bit far (2.5 km) from the ski and sleigh area. 
Cons : breakfast quite repetitive, as they have only a few rooms and are understaffed; the prices for lunch and dinner are high for the small portions they offer but quite in the normal of the area (Sinaia, Busteni). Wifi didn't worked - their network was OK but with no access to internet, had to make hotspot from phone

Great place to stay

We have stayed there a couple of times in different rooms ranging from the big two rooms apartment to a small double and the location always delivered. The rooms are clean and elegant, the garden around it is large and very well suited to leave your little ones go about their business while parents are sipping wine from the winery.
The food is good and the prices fair.
The location itself is very good to explore some Prahova Valley, Rasnov up to Brasov.

Great place on Prahova Valley - highly recommended for families, couples, groups

A peaceful place with great food. You can hear only the wind. The menu has only a few meals but very tasty and served very quickly. The soups are all great and healthy, you can eat them without bread :)

Peaceful

After visiting a couple disappointing restaurants me and my wife came upon this gem. The food and service were great, we totally recommend it. The restaurant is nice and the atmosphere pleasant.

Some suggestions:
Papanasi are awesome, much lighter than I normally expect and very tasty.

Viognier white wine is fresh and light, we enjoyed it, the sparkling wine is good but not excellent. The roast duck is good, grilled chicken is also good. French fries are made with frozen potatoes but are crisped just right.

An oasis of goodness

The service was slow but the food is worth the wait. I recommand the Papanași it was very very good. I can t say much about the rest. You can t visit the bruwery if you are not a group of 8. Of course try the wine/champagne. 

Good food

I only stayed for one night but really enjoyed the peace and quiet, very clean room and bathroom, the coffee machine and Beanz coffee treat in the room as well as well as the respect for the history of the place and the wine museum.

Short stay in Azuga

We had lunch and dinner in two different days, in the middle of the week, so the place was not crowded, but not lacking guests, either. The food was tasty (we had basic Romanian dishes) and the wine OK. No complaints about the service, except the fact that some of the dishes could be hotter.
In conclusion: a decent place, with good food and reasonable prices. As there are not too many choices in Azuga, this one might be the right one.
