We stayed in unit 11 and that unit has a great view of the ocean and the hotel is really close to some great beaches. The manager girl is very friendly.

Lot of humility from the locals. Friendly people to include tourist. Lot of great food. Best time of my life.

Had a great stay room is basic but all you need. It's the staff that make it so memorable really helped and even went out for dinner one night. I love Culebra and hotel Kokomo was the best place I could have stayed

Excellent Hotel for Price. Not a high class hotel, but good to sleep after 2:00am....

Good location, just in front of the ferries facilities.  All restaurants, near by (walking distance). Recommended for a short stay.

Friendly staff, convenient location (across the street from the ferry) and a stunning view from some rooms. My room had no windows..

Cozy, simple room with a very soft bed. Everything is pretty old and metal in the bathroom is rusty. Cold water. Good A/C, not that much noise for a March weekend. The price is fair, there is a terrace on the back of the hotel with a view to the water. Would go again.

I don't normally review but based on the fact that I tried to cancel this booking based on ratings, I am. Yes, it's true, totally a no frills hotel. Communication is also spotty. With that being said I have no complaints and also due to circumstance this hotel saved my experience on Culebra. It is directly across from the ferry port and central to everything that is within walking distance. The hotel manager David waived my first night, even with a no cancelation policy, without penalty when we couldn't make the last ferry. He upgraded us to a larger room and away from possible noise without us asking. He offered us recommendations, answered and even helped set up rentals, etc. In Culebra you only need a place to lay your head. You will have no desire to linger in a hotel room. So if you are on a budget and convenience, good customer service are a priorty, definitely stay here.

Great location.  Clean.  Just drop your bags and go kinda place.

Our group of 3 booked one of the upper level suites with a balcony and we really loved it. The living area gave us a fun place to hang out, the ocean views from the balcony were amazing, we were able to cook many of our meals in the kitchen, and we were walking distance to plenty of restaurants when we didn't want to. The reason I only gave it 4/5 is because the place could use some upkeep. The screens kept popping out of the windows, some light switches didn't work, some windows wouldn't close etc. Overall a great value which I would definitely recommend.

Nice suite in a great location

We came for two nights in spring which is the more slow season for Culebra. The room was clean and had fresh towels when we arrived. The bathroom is seperate but it is still a private bathroom. Bathroom was also clean!! No complaints on cleanliness and it's not inconvenient to have bathroom only 20 feet down the hall. Shower was nice and water got plenty hot and stayed hot for long shower. Had nice patio for hanging out and is directly upstairs from a couple bar/restaurants. Now this was nice for the first night but not the second. Our first night was Thursday and we didn't hear much of anything going on downstairs. The second night was Friday so the bar downstairs was very loud until about 2am so we didn't get much sleep. Everything else was good. Bed was pretty firm and not my preference but it was still decent. Just keep in mind there will be partying and much noise on the weekends and all the rest is good! A/C in room worked fabulously!! Directly across from ferry dock so great location if using ferry but gets very busy and parking can be difficult during ferry hours of the day. All main restaurants and within walking distance and there are publicos that will take you to playa flamenco but if you wish to explore more of the island rent a golf cart or a jeep. We rented a golf car and it was splendid!

Great location & value for simple amenities

I live and work in a hostile in Condado and my housemates and i wanted to take a 2 day 1 night trip to Culebra and this was by far the cheapest hotel option. Let me say the reviews online are absurd, the hotel is not nearly as bad as any of them make it out to be. If you are looking for a 5 star resort go elsewhere and spend double or triple the price of the Kokomo but if you are looking for a nice cheap hotel in a prime location with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. My biggest complaint would be the lack of silverware in the suite but the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, everything worked fine. Sure the room could use a coat of paint and a few small repairs but overall i was extremely happy with the location, privacy and accommodations the Kokomo has to offer. Based on my experience i would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a nice cheap place to stay while in Culebra.
