How to reach arpaiu;
By car;
Motorway exit “La Spezia”. Follow the indication for city centre. At the fifth traffic light turn on the left and run along the avanue till the end where you will have to turn right in any case. At the third traffic light turn left, running along the avenue you will find the indication for CINQUE TERRE (about 14 kilometers to Manarola).
Please notice that Manarola is exclusively pedestrian so you will have to park alongside the main road (free) or at the paying car park situated at the end of the main road before the beginning of the pedestrian zone. Once parked there are two possibilities to reach “ARPAIU”:
Walking: walk down the village till you will find the pharmacy: Via Belvedere is just in front of the pharmacy, walk up hill till Via Belvedere n. 196. “ARPAIU” is the last house on the right. just in front of the sea: It takes about 5 minutes walking from the car park.
Minibus service: from the car park you can take the minibus. At the bus stop, go down hill till you find the pharmacy: Via Belvedere is just in front of the pharmacy, walk up hill till Via Belvedere n. 196. “ARPAIU” is the last house on the right just in front of the sea
By train:
The Manarola train station is on GENOVA-ROMA train line.
Once arrived at Manarola train station walk through the tunnel, at the end turn right (up hill), after 15 meters turn right again and walk up hill till you will be in front of the sea: arpaiu Room rental is in Via Belvedere n. 196) . It takes about 4 minutes walking from the train station. |
