The hotel is in an ideal position with easy access to the most fantastic, sandy and wide beach of Afife. Super views to the sea across the main road. Sadly the place has little roadside appeal which is a great shame.
We have not stayed at the hotel but use the restaurant for dinner. I believe they are also open for lunch. During the week even in high season the place is mainly empty. As the dining room is rather large it might put people of. But everything is clean, the service is prompt and friendly and as a plus one gets  frontline seats to watch the sunset.
The food is good value, tasty and 1/2 portions are ample. The house wine ( mature, not the green wine ) perfectly good and prices are reasonable.

Deserves more customers

There was an awful smell in our room on arrival and the place was filthy and very very basic. I asked to be moved to a nicer room with no smell. We got moved to the same room one floor down. The floor was dusty and obviously hadn't been hoovered, the windowsills were rotting, the lamp was covered in mould, the rugs were kept together with staples and filthy. God knows the last time they were cleaned. I also found shoes under my bed... disgusting!! The breakfast was fine but yet again the room and chairs were awful. I felt dirty sitting on them. This establishment certainly has potential but huge improvements need to be made to the decor, more efforts need to be made to cleaning the rooms as less than the bare minimum is being done! This is certainly not hotel standard and does not deserve any stars. The best part of our trip here was the door out. 

Awful stay and not worth €60

Very disappointing stay. No hot water, even after request. Unfriendly staff that seemed annoyed we were staying. 

Room reasonably clean, but bedding basic. 

Beach nearby nice, but recommend going further up the coast to Ancora.
