The apartment is spacious, bright and airy (many windows), in a renovated house with character. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was well equipped for simple meals. The bar downstairs serves a good poncha. Staying here in August, we were able to swim at the beach across the street.Although this is a remote and quiet part of Madeira, the street outside is quite busy with a mix of locals and tourists and together with crashing waves, it can get noisy. We slept quite well nevertheless.
