43 reviewsSuch a fantastic location, minutes from everything which makes popping in and out really easy. There were great value breakfast places within two minutes walk and the more upmarket ones another minute or two away with a stunning sea view. We preferred the cheaper places as the food was more than we needed for breakfast and they did traditional pastries which were lovely. I would recommend the Portuguese coffee (very milky) and traditional bifana (marinated pork in a roll served with mustard) as the value is exceptional and a great early lunch. The apartment was spotless and well presented with everything that we needed which is always a plus but its the value for money in relation to the location that's the best bit. Salema is built on a hill and lots of places to stay involve going up which we didn't fancy! The parking (free) was a real plus as well and added to the overall great experience.
