Lovely Homeaway Stay in Los Arcos Apartment We stayed in a first floor three bedroomed apartment in Block 6 Rua das Cassias, Edifício Los Arcos. We were a family of 4 adults staying for a week. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, plenty of bedding and fresh towels. It was well equipped with a very homely feel. I have added a few photos but the photos on booking.com show a good likeness. The lady who looks after the apartment greeted us as we arrived and showed us around the apartment, gave us two set of keys and also gave us a good overview of the area she told us she was available on call, if needed the whole time we were there as she only lived downstairs. Complex There are a few residents living in the apartments blocks. The complex is clean, quiet and it felt like a very safe area. The maintenance team kept the grounds and pool area clean. The pool area is accessed through a gate with a key, there is a shower but no toilets so you would have to go back to apartment. The sun beds are allocated to each apartment and ours were locked away daily so you were always sure of a clean sunbed. There was always plenty of space for sunbeds and the pool area was very quiet most of the time. The pool is deep at 1.60 metres all the way around apart from the entrance steps were you could sit. However there is a small toddlers pool. Local Area There is a small supermarket about a 10 minute walk away along the main road, also there are a couple of restaurants nearby across the main road. We walked along the main road to the Marina which was a pleasant 20 minutes walk away. We did also use Uber taxis to Marina on some evenings which cost 5 Euros each way. The Marina is a beautiful area and there are lots of restaurants to choose from. We used Champions gym which was a 10 minute taxi ride away in Quarteira. It was an excellent well equipped gym, but whilst there we needed to buy gloves to use the equipment due to Covid-19. They also sold gloves in the 1 Euro store on the same road as the gym. The apartment met all our expectations and we would definitely recommend.
