travelled with my daughter for a few days away together
cheap and cheerful and it was a fab place to stay
The staff are fantastic from the reception guy who gave us a 2 bed apt which was amazing, to the jolly barman and the lovely Nicole in the restaurant
All made our trip to Portugal enjoyable
Even free bus 3 times a day into Marina was a nice touch by the hotel. We did walk in mostly as a beautiful walk in to the marina taking only 20 mins
ps i recommend doing the trip caves of bengali boat trip amazing coastline to see


Had to cancel our booking in Italy and we were able to book Oasis Village Apartments on short notice. The RCI representative was very helpful.  Everything we needed was onsite (pool, restaurant, and bar) and the staff was very friendly. 

Had a good stay at oasis village, restaurant served good food , excellent wine and very friendly staff. The resort was a leisurely stroll to Vilamoura Marina with plenty of shops and bars. Apartments were clean, spacious (2 bed, 2 bath) and equiped 

Once again we checked into Parque Mourabel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I question some comments on here, the aparthotel is not in the middle of nowhere and clearly states on booking sites its 2 km from the Marina, the hotel runs a free bus 3 times a day to the beach and Marina, so if you are unable to walk that far transport is provided. Within a 5 minute walk are at least 3 restaurants, 3 bars and 2 cafes, not to mention 2 supermarkets and the great friendly bar and restaurant on the premises. All the staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble, you get what you pay for and if you select superior accommodation then you have fantastic value for money. Accommodation closer to the Marina would be at least 4 x Parque Mourabel prices and the Marina is really not that far away, if you want luxury you need to increase you holiday budget.  

We stayed here from May 26th until June 2nd. Apartment excellent and restaurant as good as any at Marina but much better priced. We had a one bed apartment with lounge and outside area (balcony) on ground floor. Perfectly clean with Room service every day. This was by far the best venue we have ever had. We hired a car but discovered the resort complex had courtesy coaches to and from marina frequently each day. Albufeira is a short drive away as is San Rafael. Beach and scenery at San Rafael is not to be missed. All in all the Oasis Village and Parque Mourabel complex

We booked a bargain break through Alpha rooms for a week stay here with our three teenage sons.
The price was so good that I was a little worried about what the standard of accommodation would be, we needn’t have been concerned. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful-nothing was too much trouble, the one bed apartment was immaculate, modern and well equipped. Serviced daily. The pools were great, we ate in the onsite restaurants a couple of times-the buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The shop was well stocked with groceries and reasonably priced. There is a fantastic restaurant 5 min walk away (Chez Carlos) and a free bus three times a day (or a very pleasant 20min walk) takes you to the stunning marina with plenty of bars and restaurants. We were all very impressed and will definitely be back.

Just back from the Oasis Village apartments on a 10 day break in 2 bed apartment with family. 

After reading previous reviews i was a tad tentative but found it to be absolutely fine. Arrived around 10pm and we were promptly checked in and escorted to our room by the great staff on site. 

Our apartment was a ground floor apartment with a porch, inside it was quite basic but had everything we needed. Free wifi was a great help but we didn't have air con however there was x4 fans in our cupboards to use which we did. The TV channels are basic but we took a firestick which ran well on the wifi. The beds are a little on the hard side but wasn't as issue for us.

So the Oasis Village is part of the Parque Maroubel and Pe De Lago hotels all within a stones throw of each other, OV doesn't have a pool, PM does have one large pool and the PDL has a large pool and a baby pool (we preferred this pool to visit and had a nice cafe on site for a spot of lunch - very cheap too). There is a supermarket next to the hotel too which has everything required and was reasonably priced. 

There is a free coach shuttle at 9am, 11am and 4pm to the marina and beaches which is ideal, the small train comes round periodically too however you must pay and the speed bumps make for an uncomfortable ride on this. To walk to the marina is 15-20 min pleasant walk through a parkway which is a nice easy walk.

The staff were all fantastic, towels changed every second day and nothing ever a hassle. Reception happy to arrange taxi's for 6.50 eur to marina and uber's generally available too. We had an uber eats delivered too one evening, all very simple and easy.

Along the road there is Graces restaurant which we loved and visited a few times, there is Chez Carlos too which we visited but whilst inexpensive we found it a tad more formal than we would have liked, food was great though with a couple of decent bars next to it as well.

TIPS

Get mosquito repellent/candles/spray - They are a tad annoying but were a lowlight and unfortunately due to the abundance plant life in the area fles and mosquitos were present. 

Walk to the Marina especially at sunset as its a lovely walk down. 

The marina can be expensive to eat/drink in, i'd recommend the square behind the Don Alfonso Restaurant, some great restaurants and great value for money. We really liked the A Broa and Natraj Restaurants.

Boat Trip - We took a 35 euro 4 hour boat trip to the Benagil Caves, got a little swim in the sea and even stopped too see some dolphins which were at the side of the boat on the way back - well worth the money.



Need car but plenty to do with children in area Zoomarine great had two day ticket kids so happy .All beaches great !  Down at marina lots places to eat out great food .Hotel has another pool down road that you allowed to use great sun spot in afternoons .

Place close to the beach and the harbour .it's not the Ritz but its okay to stay there it's clean and very friendly . They put free buses on to go to the harbour and the beach or there is a train what picks you up.

Staff in bar, restaurant and housekeeping very friendly and attentive.  Lovely caring drivers that drove the shuttle bus to and from the complex.  However, takes 25 to 30 minutes to walk from here to the marina.  At the marina you'll find ATM machines, restaurants,  supermarkets,  clubs, cafe/bars. There are also more hotels here and buses to other areas to visit. The beach is beautiful with only a few traders selling towels, sunglasses etc. Very polite and not intimidating in any way. There is an Asian restaurant onsite of Parque Mourabel called Lago Azul, such beautiful staff that helped us feel comfortable and relaxed. Definitely worth a few visits. The grounds are beautiful and a swimming pool next to the bar restaurant
