I have just returned home today from a 5 day stay at these stunning apartments and I’m already looking to book again for next year.  We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it had everything we needed and was spotless throughout.   The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare meals and a full size fridge/freezer.  The outdoor seating area was lovely and as the complex was nice and peaceful it was great for relaxing day or night.  The pool is a great size and always had plenty of sun loungers or chairs throughout the day.  There is also plenty of restaurants and bars in the area for all tastes.  All in all we loved our stay and are looking forward to our next visit

Stayed in ROOM L a one bed with views of the pool.
The apartments are fabulous with absolutely everything you could need. 
It is quiet with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for shade. The pool is lovely and cool .
Plenty of eating options nearby and supermarkets across the road. 



We arrived late and got great service from our remote host how to find everything. 

Our apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated. The A/C was very needed and worked very well. Our apartment was on the backside with a distant view of the ocean and very quiet even though the town area is buzzing. 

The best thing was the breakfast recommendation for Al-Gharb. Only a short 10 min walk away, a little oasis. 

Albufeira is a great location. We will pick Casa Velha anytime again

A really great small complex of apartments. Recently renovated, and they are very smart, stylish and spacious. Have all the facilities you need. Stayed in the 2 bed deluxe which looks just like the photos, has a great large terrace and garden view.
Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere, although location is great. Walkable to oura or St. Eulália beaches, or the strip. Decent Intermarche supermarket 2 mins walk away.
Super clean everywhere - pool lovely with nice sun loungers, gardens are immaculate. Towels changed every 2 days and pool towels provided.
Filipa and the team are friendly and helpful.
I’d definitely stay here again.

A perfect place of peaceful tranquility in an overall busy location. 
Very quiet ,couples only, no bar on site which suits the atmosphere,  yet plenty of food and bar choices outside the gate. 
Apartment was spacious with air con .
Bolt taxi to the old town is roughly 3.50 each way.
You can rent pool towels for 20 euro each and this is refunded at the end of your stay.
Filipa at the reception is an excellent host.

Would recommend the old house bar and restaurant next door to casa velha.

Found albuifeira including the old town particularly around the square to be a bit neon lighty with boom boxes trying to be louder than the next business.

10/10 holiday. Beautiful apartments all equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay, even shower gel and shampoo. In a quiet location but not too far from bars and restaurants and there is a supermarket and restaurant/bar across the road. The owner is a lovely lady who can’t do enough for you. The only thing we noticed that was a slight inconvenience was that there were no plug sockets in the bedrooms, just USB sockets, this made drying hair difficult as there was also no mirror in the living room where most sockets were and one socket in the bathroom. We found a way around this and it didn’t affect our stay and wouldn’t stop us returning but we feel it’s necessary for future travellers to know.

Had a lovely time here, apartments and pool area have been refurbished to a high standard with new furniture throughout, large very comfy bed, 55 inch smart tv, excellent Wi-Fi, lovely modern shower rooms with locally sourced shampoo and shower gel provided, lovely new kitchen with everything you need right down to the juicer for fresh OJ in the morning.

Would recommend the breakfast box which is delivered to your room containing freshly baked croissants/bread, cold meats, cheese, jam, orange juice and a selection of fresh fruit.

The manager(Fillipa) is very pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much bother for her.

Relaxing, peaceful break with plenty of choice for eating out in the nearby area.

Home from home and we look forward to returning in the future.

Great food, the new extention really makes a difference.  Sandra, Nuno and the boys are so friendly, and can't do enough to help. Touristic menu is excellent value for money.   Three courses for €12.90. Their apple pie is delicious and the vanilla ice cream reminds me of Cornish ice cream.  Can't wait to eat there again.

This restaurant opens at 5-30 in the evening and was a pleasure to visit. There is a tourist menu which consists of a three course meal then coffee and free drink all for €12 euros which was extremely good value for money with plenty of choice on menu or you can opt to go a la carte. Either way good value.
It seems to be a family run restaurant which makes it very homely and the lady who served us was pleasant and polite.
If you want good value and nice surroundings I would recommend this little gem.

We ate here 3 times during our week stay. It was 2 minutes walk from our appartment and a rather unassuming frontage leads through a restaurant ans out to a cute little courtyard. The service is excellent and friendly. The staff remembered our order from the time before. We all had lamb chops which were thin cut and served with rice and salads. Really really lovely. Kept us wanting to go back for more. Reasonable value. I would go here again and again.
