Monte Aguentinha do Campo

August was my fourth trip to Monte Aguentinha... and it certainly won't be last if I can help it. It is the most amazing place, only driving distance to the nearest village / shops, quiet and tranquil. With a lovely pool, great food, lovely rooms... and the most amazing horses and tuition. The first time I went in Oct 2009, it was 'make or break' for me and horses. Having loved them for as long as I remember through a couple of serious riding accidents I completely lost my confidence and it broke my heart. Nuno and his horses were amazing... and through his wonderful tuition on his amazing horses i managed to come through and leave the past behind and I am loving horses more than ever before. I would recommend this to anyone who is a horse lover, and who wants a quiet, horse holiday with sun and a pool... take the books you've always wanted to read and look forward to great riding lessons and a chill out time. Like the other lady said - the horses aren't general happy hackers - and so riding out is at Nuno's discretion after a few lessons... they are Lusitano Stallions, and are gorgeous, strong, beautiful creatures. Can't wait to go back!!
