Super expérience I really feel like inside an English pub

Anna the owner is warm welcoming 
On this season, November , it was really peaceful but so pleasant

About the restaurant !

Adorable town, the owners were very friendly and very helpful. I especially enjoyed my fish dinner which I had served with a giant salad and French fries. Pricing is beyond reasonable. The room was basic, but clean, the room had a balcony. Though others may have complained about the breakfast, I have to say; I was quite content, it came with plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, coffee, fresh baked bread & jam.

Clean and tidy room

Superb terrace overlooking the sea and mountains; the toilets are old and the bed covers are a little old, but our stay of 2 nights was enhanced by the warm welcome of the French-speaking patroness; the wood-fired brooches are delicious; an ideal unpretentious address for hikers

A genuine welcome

Dirty hotel, footprints of splashes on the walls.Dirty and torn toilet towels.There is a light bulb missing in every bathroom on the toilet cabinet.Dirty cover.Dirty footprint on the double curtains.Neighborhood dog barks all night.The walls are very poorly insulated.The breakfast is very light.If you want to hike, bring your cereals and bread.The bread is frozen.The evening meal is good and well cooked.The restaurant is noisy, lots of people.

Dirty, wet

Outdated building, cold and wet. No noise insulation. Terrible breakfast as tenants seem to limit the number of slices of cheese they give you. No gluten-free option for breakfast. Staff was not smiling and it took them two hours to serve dinner.

Avoid and find another option

Having spent two nights in Rural San Roque during our hiking trip, we found the hotel very nice and warm in a small village no less pleasant excellent welcome car park large room 2 beds + a matrimonio certainly old-fashioned decoration but well in this rural setting with beautiful terrace with views of the chain of peak Areeiro and peak Ruivo family meal very right small lunch nothing to be said large enough for trekkeers

Very nice and welcoming country hotel

Small hotel situated on the top of the hill, with beautiful views. Just across the street there is restaurant where we had breakfasts. The owner, always smiling lady was very welcoming and made our stay unforgettable. 

Best cozy place

This establishment has many advantages and I highly recommend it. - Kindness and staff availability, whether it's an extravagant late arrival or a sunrise departure. - Large room with stunning views of mountains and ocean. - Quality of bedding. - Extreme cleanliness of places and household laundry. - Fares more than reasonable. The only downside would be the cold and humidity, normal in this season but combated by a tiny electric radiator.

An idyllic stay in the mountains by the sea

The location of the place is great it is village in the mountains. There are also wonderful views o the sea and green mountains. The rooms are basic with hot shower. There is nearby restaurant where the breakfast is served. The manager and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Good place

Stayed one night here as part of a hiking holiday. Town is cute. Folks in restaurant are quite nice but hotel is outdated, cold and God forbid if you need anything because we never saw anyone who worked at the hotel. Lights in room were out but there was no one to assist. No Internet, no hair dryer, no soap. Nothing could make me return to this hotel. It's only value was the laughs we got about how awful it was.
