I wasn't expecting much from an airport hotel, but this Lisbon stopover turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel is clean, modern, and surprisingly well-kept. The room was spacious and comfortable, with modern furnishings and a few charming whimsical, airport-themed touches. The staff deserve a special mention—genuinely friendly and helpful, even offering to assemble a breakfast takeaway box when I had to leave before service began. A small thing, but rare and appreciated. The restaurant wasn’t open during my stay, but the bar had a surprisingly extensive “snack” menu that more than covered dinner. Just be prepared to wait—bar service was very slow. Despite that, an excellent stay. If you need to be near the airport, this is one layover that won’t feel like a compromise. Airport is 5-7 mins walk (altho uphill on cobblestone). Pathway was well-lit and I felt comfortable walking at 3:30a.
