Stupendous Surprise, I had booked this hotel partially because of its Central location and closeness to all the bus and metro stations and was pleasantly surprised by the level of quality of both the staff and the hotel itself. The breakfast, the cleanliness and kindness I received here were more akin to a swiss 5 Star hotel then a 3 star Portuguese one. It makes me a bit perplexed that it only has three stars although one of the receptionists named Paulo disclosed to me that it's only because they don't have a garage and a pool (although they are an historical protected building, which means they couldn't have them because the law doesn't allow structural changes to such historic and important buildings). I can't wait to return again!
