We stayed here on our trip to Lisbon. The room was big, comfortable and nicely decorated. There is a nice park and some cafes near by and an easy access to public transportation (tram and bus). We did an early check-in with no problem and even when we were late to our checkout our hosts gritted us with a smile and had no problem with it (it was only 15 minutes but still very nice of them). Upon check-in, we were gritted by Joao. He gave us a map of the city, personal local recommendations and a quick "what you have to know guide to Lisbon". Joao also have us his private WhatsApp number for anything we needed. When we left for Porto, Joao helped us rent a car and have us tips on where to stop on the way to make our drive nice and fun. The name fits it since we really felt like we had a friend in Lisbon.
