196 reviewsI have to leave a review as the current latest one before mine is so bad it makes me wonder if they mistakenly were in a different hotel! I'm presently sitting in a spotlessly clean, recently - and very smartly - redecorated room and incredibly comfortable and happy I'm here! For the price I paid (don't know if I got a last minute deal or something!) but I think it's amazing! It feels brand new so I don't know if there are some other rooms in the building yet to be renovated but this is great. Breakfast I thought was really good, decent selection, staff are good too, so I'm a bit surprised at other people's experience. And just one point about cockroaches (which another reviewer mentioned) I haven't seen any btw - but I do know, having been in a few hotels in PT, that sometimes even in good quality places they can make an unfortunate appearance. But I'll say again, from my own experience, this place is great! And as another reviewer said, definitely better than 1 star! Maybe it had a bad past, lol!
