Quinta de Cima de Eiriz

We spent 1 week here during our summer holidays during August 2018. We had privatised the villa for our family (5 adults and 3 kids) during our stay. Upon arrival we found the villa to be in a lovely scenic and quiet location with great views. The villa is a family heirloom and has been there about 100 years. There are chickens, roosters and the owner has dogs which are locked up when guests stay. There are plenty of outdoor areas to spend your time, from the BBQ area, swimming pool, kids playground and a wander through the fruit orchard. The place was great for a family holiday especially with small children. What made the location perfect however was our hostess Olivia. For me there were some issues with the villa ie somewhat dated and in need of refurbishment (eg kitchen fridge) and although place was clean it was not spotless. However the customer service shown by Olivia made our stay perfect: 1) washing machine broke down, she had it replaced early next day 2) she brought us fresh fruit and vegetables on a daily basis from the farm 3) she took our kids to the pond to feed the fish 4) when we said we were disappointed with dinner at a local restaurant, she called the owner up and he offered us a free meal All these were above and beyond her call of duty, therefore i highly recommend a big private family holiday here you will not be disappointed!
