Between 15 May 2026 and 30 July 2026, the property will be conducting major renovations in the SPA and indoor pool areas. During this period, all massages and treatments will be provided in rooms located in Block B and Block C.

For facilities such as the indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and Turkish bath, guests will be offered access to alternative options at sister properties: Melia Madeira Mare (1.5 kilometers away) and Hotel Pestana Grand (0.5 kilometers away).

The outdoor pool will remain available for guest use during this time.

Additionally, the reception lobby in Building B will undergo a redesign. This work will take place over a period of 2 to 3 days during November 2025, coinciding with apartment renovations in Block B.

Marble flooring treatment will also be carried out, with expected disruption in the work area lasting at least two weeks. However, as this is a passageway, it is not anticipated to cause significant inconvenience to guests. As there will be no guest occupancy in Block B during the works, any inconvenience will be limited to check-in, check-out, and transit periods.

Following these renovations, accommodation units will be refurbished block by block, with each block temporarily closed to eliminate any visual or noise impact on guests.

In November and December 2025, the apartments in Block B will be updated with new paint, furniture, and décor for improved comfort and appearance.

In January and February 2026, rooms and apartments in Block C will undergo similar refurbishments.

In March and April 2026, Block A will see the renewal of its rooms and apartments with upgrades to furnishings, comfort, and decor.

Since the renovations will be carried out one block at a time, there should be no disturbance to guests staying at the property.
