After visiting beautiful Evora, we spent one night at Carranca Lounge which is located very close to the town. From the main road, it is a very short drive on the unpaved road. It was easy to find thanks to given coordinates. The parking was inside property just in front of the cottage. We were greeted by two big friendly dogs, and got very warm welcome by host Alice who spoke fluent English. We had a deluxe room situated in the cottage called Carrananha. It was like being in beautiful magazine picture-stylishly decorated, but also authentic and cozy. The large living room had a well equipped kitchenette, dining table and the sitting area with TV. The bedroom was a good size and had a comfy bed with fine quality bedding. The spacious bathroom had a large shower. Breakfast brought by Alice was perfect-warm scones and other bakery, fresh fruit. Excellent place to stay, we highly recommend.
