You get what you pay for; actually, you get more since the price for one of their clean rooms is just too good to be true. Of course, the furniture is not brand new and the bathroom is very simple, but you are located literally across the railway station - two minutes! - and close to real Portuguese shops and restaurants. Yet it's very quiet. And like I said: It's clean. They aren't offering breakfast, but you can feast on original Portuguese breakfast at at least two snack bars located like one block away. It certainly was not the poshest accommodation I've ever experienced, but it definitely was the best price ratio I ever got. Only possible downside: It's basically not accessible if you aren't fit and strong. You can only get to the reception as well as to the rooms climbing a long, narrow, and extremely steep staircase. There is no lift and the stairs are a real exercise; this can be a toughie if you aren't very fit and especially if you have a lot of luggage.
