Me and my father were travelling from Italy at the end of May and stayed two days at Albergaria Sao Pedro and enjoyed the stay a lot. Notice that this is not your typical luxury hotel , it's quite basic but has everything you would want, from a price/quality ratio is perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly giving us a lot of tips on what to see and where to go in the area. The rooms are small but comfortable and the hotel is located on a quiet road just off the sea front, a few meters from the promenade. There is a restaurant just opposite the hotel but we never had dinner there, we went to a few different places on the main street. The hotel has a quite big internal pub where me and my father would sit after dinner and have few local beers (which by the way are exceptionally good). The highest marks go to the breakfast with tons of different types of fresh fruits, homemade cakes, different types of croissants, etc etc. a great start of the day. I definitely recommend Albergaria Sao Pedro and looking forward to staying there again soon.
