My husband and I spent 10 days at Quinta das Amendoeiras and I can't recommend this place highly enough. It was originally farm buildings that have been lovingly restored by the owners Maria and Carlos. Set on the outskirts of Albufeira around 2kms from the old town. For those who like a walk it will take around 40 minutes to get to the centre of Albufeira. Quinta das Amendoeiras really is a little bit of heaven with only 7 individual apartments each decorated to the highest standard. Our apartment was a 1 bedroom with a beautiful sitting room kitchen and bathroom. The outside space is perfect with 2 bbq area's and a spotlessly clean heated pool. All apartments have table and chairs outside and enough loungers around the pool for everyone. Carlos and Maria really must be congratulated on the love and attention they give to each quest. Quinta das Amendoeiras is 5*+. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back.
