Locomotive Hostel

Funky feel, great way to re-purpose an abandoned train station. Locomotive has this planet’s most unusual hostel lockers. And on Sundays, a fabulous farmers/flea market sprouts from the concrete pad to the west and adjacent to Locomotive Hostel. Very good location, pretty decent WiFi (though some issues uploading pics), great kitchen, and thanks for the comp coffee and tea. And a special thanks to Dominika for all her positive karma she radiates. A few suggested improvements: Oil the squeaky door hinges, door knobs — hinges and knobs are so squeaky now they wake people sleeping. Add personal lights to each bunk, so guests do not have to fire up the one overhead light which illuminates the entire dorm room, more sustainable. Add a recycling program — plastic, paper, metal and organics — and make Locomotive Hostel even more sustainable.
