The girl whose bed was just next to me invited a guy and had sex with him (very loudly), then his friend arrived to make it in 3. They were absolutely drunk or high, i don’t know. When i woke up, her friend acted inappropriately  when i refused to join this morbid action, he didn’t leave me alone. There was no one of the personnel in the hostel to solve this problem. I suppose that even if you don’t pay a lot you should be provided with a safe environment. I wasn’t safe with inadequate men in my room so i left at 3 am instead of sleeping all night there.
It was definitely the last time i went to this hostel.

Horrible !

It's located totally in the city center, very close to the train station and all the attractions. The hostel is overall clean with a good price and the staff is friendly. I stayed also other hostels with higher rates in Warsaw in the last 2 years and I can say that it's better compared to them. So I recommend everyone who is planning to be in Warsaw for a short trip :)

Negative: The room was small, no place to move because of the backpacks etc. all around. There was no curtain, so other guests can observe the room from the lift :) and the sun comes directly to the room in the morning, as well. They should use more decorative lights than basic ones. No plugs for people who sleep on the top of the bunk bed! Unfortunately, the bathrooms are very small. I'm sure you can not enter if you're over 1,90 cm :))

Nice, clean hostel in the great location

Stayed at the hotel lux for one week, I slept in a pod which was ok, just, 7 other people shared the room so it was noisy. 
There was a Jack and Jill bathroom . 1 shower , 1 loo And 1 sink shared between 24 people. The other side of the reception was another bathroom but it was male and female and uncomfortable. There was also two lavatories, also shared. 

The bedding was of very poor quality and there were mites in the bedroom. 

the lighting in the whole of the building was very dull and inadequate.

Apart from one Male reception attendant the staff were uncooperative, unfriendly and often rude in their manner. 

The reception area was clean with seats but that is the only place that was clean. 

The bathroom and Kitchen areas work disgrace, there were signs posted asking people to clean up after themselves... This didn't happen! 

A lot of the guests were homeless are refugees waiting on the embassy to allocate them residence I to Poland. 

Yes this place was cheap to stay but no wonder.

My advice.. Stay away .

Dirty refuge .not a hostel

the hotel is just 5 minutes by taxi from Warsaw central station 10 minutes by walk , 5 minutes by walk to palace of culture. the guy at the reception was so nice we reached early but he let us use the bathroom and leave our luggage there. kitchen was ok . there are enough toilets and bathrooms , price was very ok , the place is clean. and there is a washing machine also. but i didn't use. from the hostel to airport it took around 15 minutes by uber.

The hostel has the great location, the check-in and check-out is fast and easy but one day after I left my arms, hands, and legs started itching and unfortunately, I was bitten by bed bugs :( Apart of that they have a nice kitchen and teeny tiny showers.

During my two week stay here, I can say this place is a very unique hostel and attracts a variety of interesting people I really enjoyed my stay here. It's the best location, near great food, entertainment, and the central station, trams, buses and metro, which will easily get you to wherever you desire to go. Price is great. I stayed in the 8bed capsule dorm, it has AC, which is a lifesaver in the intense summer heat.
Also the three lovely receptionists (Anastasia, Katya, and Polina) were always extra helpful to me. If you decide to stay here, try to take a moment from your phones and communicate with those around you, you wont regret.

Special place, with great people

Let's start with the nice things.  It was well locate, and just a 12-15min taxi ride, or 25 min bus ride from Chopin Airport.  They are just a couple of minutes walk from the main train station, and the Palace of culture and science. The lockers were a pretty decent size , and we had clean sheets for the beds/capsule.

My god though, the cleanliness of the place, in general, has a lot to be desired. Toilets ran out of toilet paper, and one of them had a broken toilet seat revealing gunk and crap that obviously hadn't been cleaned in... weeks?. The sink area was also flooded each time I had to use it.   Want to take a shower?  good luck!  2 of the 4 showers were broken, and one of the sinks in there was also flooded.

I generally love staying in hostels, because of the friendly service you also get from the staff.  Not here though.

If you want to stay here, it is ONLY because of the location.  You are well located centrally and in walking distance of most places including Old Town, and Royal Baths Park.

By far, the worst hostel I've stayed in.  But it's in a great location

Stayed recently at the property, all i can say is avoid. Very poor quality of accommodation and very very tired. Toilets were broken, hand driers were broken, paper towel dispenser was not refilled during the duration of our stay, shower doors broken and tiny cubicles. On checkout no staff to dispute the stay and just a note saying unavailable between 10 and 2.

Our room for example had a glass roof, and the ventilation wasn't satisfactory and with the 28 C outside temp the half broken fan provided I was glad to only have to suffer 1 night.

The 2 extra sofa beds were not suitable for adults due to their size.

Very poor, avoid the Quad Room (#8) 

Great hostel just over the road from the central railway station and also close to the bus stop for the shuttle to Modlin Airport (for your Ryanair flight).

The hostel is on a higher floor of a resdential building and is accessed by a scenic glass lift at the rear. The dorms are unusual in that they don´t have bunkbeds, but large wooden box/capsules, stacked three over three. You slide in, sit on your mattress and close the curtain at the foot end, giving you some privacy and separation. There is an electric socket and and reading lamp at the pillow end. Towels and padlocks for the lockers are available at extra charge.

The showers and toilets are down the hall, and modern and adequate. One dorm has en ensuite shared shower/toilet.

Great price and very central. Good English spoken.

Super central

Good: Location is great, close to the Centrum bus/tram stops from where you can get to the Chopin airport within 35-40 mins on 175 bus.There are elevators in the underground area so you dont have to carry your suitcases up and down 20 or so steps. There is a shop for diabetic people, and a few restaurants right next to the Hostel (Polish and Georgian food), and a 24hr Carrefour store. On the day of the check out, the reception was kind enough to let me leave after the required 10 am. The hostel has a strict no alcohol/no smoking and no noise policy. Showers look nice with dark grey tiles and bathrooms have hand towels, which can be used once and tossed to bin. I find this environmentally unfriendly a bit because of the amount of laundry it must require for the cleaning staff, a hand dryer would have been more sufficient, I think. In the multiple shower room, the shower #3 (counting from the door) does not work properly, so I suggest avoiding it. Finally, you can pay in Euros and cash, and they give you Euro cash back.
Bad: Its my 3rd stay in this hostel, previously stayed in 6-bed dormitories, this time - in twin room.I must say the quality of the hostel has deteriorated,and it needs renovation. The twin room was quite dirty with strains of odd looking liquid spilled on the wall (I hope its not a gross thing that I think it is, provided its right next to the bed), some pillow sheets were yellow and old, and bed sheets did not look nice overall, and were paper thin. One of the lights was not working, knob for one of the windows (that has no curtains at all) was broken, and even the candle in the room could not be lit. In addition to all that, blinds that are right above beds were half open so had to ask reception for help (they had to use a long stick to move the blinds). The only chair in the room had a broken seat...so, you get the picture - that particular room needed major renovation. One of our juices from the fridge was stolen despite placing info on the bottle and most importantly, a guy opened a door into our room in the middle of the night. We were not sure what his intentions were but he said he was looking for the room # that actually doesnt exist. So, we didnt feel safe leaving our belongings and made sure we locked the doors even if leaving for a few minutes. Reception isnt at their desk 24 hrs, as there were several moments we saw nobody there in the middle of the night and front door was wide open.
