The hotel sits in a fairly quiet location and is a short walk from the city centre and has a car park for about 10 cars, there is plenty of street parking nearby.
The staff were not very welcoming, a bit robotic and lifeless, and the hotel itself was very old-fashioned, dark and tired looking.
The bedroom was very basic and looked as though nothing had probably be updated in it for the past 20 or 30 years. I tried a few plug sockets on the walls, they all worked, but were very loose.

We booked the suite with balcony, and the room was lovely: clean, pretty, all you can ask for, we were quite happy with it. The service was always nice and welcoming, specially the guy in charge of breakfast (they should give him a raise).

Anyway, we just stayed there one night (Saturday night) and right under us, in the hotel's restaurant, there was a party until 2 AM. UNTIL 2 AM. Nobody told us in advance, and even when we called reception at 1 at night the only answer we got was: "Well, you'll have to wait for an hour. If you have any problems, talk to the manager tomorrow". 

What kind of hotel books a room knowing they are throwing a party that night until 2AM? In a small villa where the noise was heard all over the building? Only for that, avoid this place. You might not be able to sleep that night.

A loud party!?

This property should be considered a hostel, not a hotel.  There is minimal upkeep and not much beyond four walls, a bed, and a bathroom.  Carpets in the public areas and the rooms are filthy and worn threadbare.  The "mattress" is an old piece of foam, misshapen, covered with a sheet.  No AC, which means the windows must be kept open during the warm summer, which means lots of mosquitos and, incredibly, a staff member using a very loud vacuum cleaner to collect leaves at 10:15 PM just outside the window - in complete darkness!  The building itself is an old beauty and it could really be a terrific place with a little effort.  If you're looking for a cheap place to flop while backpacking through Poland, this is your place.  If you're looking for a business hotel, look elsewhere.  Staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful.

Quick visit for business

We actually didn't stay in the hotel, just organized our wedding there. Before we did we had dinner in the restaurant to try the food and it was a good surprise, and the food during our wedding was amazing, just what we asked for. It was the best place for us to do our intimnate wedding (around 30 people). We had a private room as there were other events and a bigger wedding outside, but this didn't affect our experience, only thing is that in a smaller room people were opening one of the doors into our room at times, they should either lock it or put a sign for the future. 

The staff were absolutely amazing, waiters very well trained and our only nightmnare was dealing wiith one of the managers who lacked all sense of management and people skills right from the start (including on the wedding day when her attitude towards solving an issue was appaling), she definately needs intensive training as her attitude nearly turned us away from this venue. 

The other manager was much better and capable of her role and we gave her feedback about our experience and about her colleague. The staff (with the only exception), the venue and the food made us have the wedding we wanted and would recommend it to anyone.
