Very good
11 reviewsA friend and I stayed here in late June, and we found that this little place was perfectly located in the Old Town. It was only one street from the main square but was extremely quiet. There were restaurants in the streets nearby, however as previous, the main square which is absolutely brimming with restaurants is only a few minutes walk around the corner. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go, but i admit the train station is a fair hike away. When we arrived we probably should have gotten a cab as there was no maps around the place to get direction and so we walked in a direction which was where we thought we were going :o) We got there in the end, but so we made our train we definitely caught a taxi back. I can't remember how much it was now, but it was well worth it. Breakfast was included, and i found very satisfying. There was a variety to chose from and which sustained us til later in the day. We could also choose what time in the morning we wanted to have our breakfast, so items were reasonably fresh when we arrived. We did have to compete with a few other guests, but there are only a limited number of bedrooms available so there is not too many. The twin room was rather small, and we had to contain most of our gear so we could have some floor space. The bathroom was also on the smallish side, but hey it did it's job. Overall, I really liked this place, esp being so close to the main square, it was quiet, food was sufficient, BUT it is a fair distance from the main train station. I would most likely stay here again on a visit to Poznan, but would take a taxi straight up rather than trying to navigate my way there.
